STATEMENT: Situation in Israel & Gaza

The horrific conflict in Israel and Gaza has lead to incredibly difficult days, hours and minutes for those in the region, but also countless others who are impacted.

As your Member of Parliament, I want you to know that I hear you, and the conversations we have had—conversations where many have shared their pain and heartbreak—have resonated deeply with me. I will continue to represent your voices in Parliament.

Far too many lives have been lost, and civilians being held hostage is deeply disturbing and must come to an end.

As a nation, Canada stands for peace. The principles of humanity, dignity, and the protection of civilians are paramount.
